I can only dream of getting a full 8 hours of sleep!
I read in a movie that pigs only sleep 7 hours.
I don’t even know if it’s true. It was decades ago, I mean years, it can’t possibly be decades ago, and I always remember it when someone talks about sleep.
I don’t even remember the movie, only that bit.
I think it is little below 8 hours with adult pigs, but this goes down with age. So might be around 7 average
Sleep is very different per species of course, like cats are know to be able to sleep 16 hours in a day spread over multiple sessions
Sleep can also vary a little bit with people, but most adults do need around 8. You need enough time to clean up the brain, relax and reset, rebuild muscles if you worked out, and more and this just takes time to do right
For me i needed atleast 9 hours when young and now around 8, when sleeping more i often feel bad, and when sleeping less i also feel bad most times
