I’m guessing that the defendant must be Michael Conaway. Who else is a close peer of a demon from hell?!
What’s the backstory here? Is Belphegor American by birth, or did he get American citizenship later on?
His eternal citizenship is guaranteed in the Constitution, in a postscript on the reverse of the document, written in one of Ben Franklin’s early attempts at invisible ink.
I like the way Belphegor counts as 3 people. Or takes up the seating of 3 people, anyway,
I’m concerned about the frequency that he ends up getting called on for jury duty. Surely it isn’t that hard to find 12 random people who aren’t severely biased for or against the defendant? Or was the defendant a lawyer?
