He was only doing cardio, you mostly sweat off water weight that way. You could easily gain back 10+lbs over-night just by going out for drinks with your buddies.
If only being healthy was as easy as getting fat
I was into body-building when I was a teen, I got bulked up in just over a year. Then I had a near-fatal car accident and took several months to recover and re-learn to walk. I lost nearly 80% of that muscle mass! So it certainly feels like that. I went from no-neck to pencil-neck! LOL
Yeah, fake muscles for looks (build with protein bars etc) dont hold well out of use ; real strength trained muscles hold the strength even when not actively trained, while not necessary showing with bulkiness
Mine were real, I spent months and months of nutrition and daily weight training. Steroids weren’t common in the md-70’s, mainly pro ball game types. I was benching 20 reps of 200lbs and dead-lifting 400. then I noticed I was slow and had a chance to take up martial arts to balance me out. If i hadn’t rolled that car I would have retired from my own dojo by now!
Was just thinking the other day that it’d been a long time since your last post, John.
Nice to see you’re still with us.
I always assumed Milan and John had finally met, and ran off together, to be happy in some paradise island.
If John’s posting again, that means they broke up.
Hang in there, John. We are your family. Wait, no, that’s depressing.
I’m not sure Milan survived the website redesign.
There were probably a lot of ideas that were left on the cutting room floor.
Ah, well.
We hardly knew him.
Rest in peace, I guess.
It was a very one sided obsession… And still not my most toxic situationship
Somehow, I believe you.
Thanks for keeping up the site, guys!
It’s one of the last bastions of early/mid-2000s of internet comics. An era I fondly look back to.
