My rule: if it has minced meat: add onion; because raw onion that gets cooked in meat fat gets soften, bit mellow and awesome taste that just plays along with other components
This reminds me of an old Sagendorf’s Popeye, where Prof. Wotasnozzle would go to Roughhouse’s diner everyday, order a soup, and complain.
When asked why didn’t he eat soup at home, he logically replied “how would I complain, then?”
