I dropped my Critical Thinking class at Massey University (New Zealand) when the lecturers told me specifically “Do not bring material or anything from outside the class and its presentations it will confuse the other students. We will provide all the information that you will need to pass the exam at the end of the course.”
In other classes that might be shocking at the university level but in a class specifically on Critical Thinking it was unacceptable.
