Read A Book

9 comments on “Read A Book”

I actually some texts by Lenin, or even liberal ones like Friedman… what’s the problem about reading? you can argument against something if you don’t know it. Those documentals about the WWII are nice with all those tanks and soldier… but they always left the political and ideological reasons aside.

Yeah, the kid’s just reading the book. Doesn’t mean he agrees with the ideology within it, and in real life, anyone who reads Mein Kampf or the Communist Manifesto doesn’t necessarily end up agreeing with any of it… unless it’s an over-protected empty vessel just waiting to be filled with SOMETHING.

Censorship, like many things, always backfires in itself.

I remember being young & we were all pissed at religious censorship. Now that generation has grown up & it’s happily practicing political censorship.

Me? I’m still pissed.

“Oh, but this one is justified.” So was the other censorship, jackboots.

The targets change, but the behaviour is exactly the same.

By the way, the comic’s funny, keep doing whatever you feel like, Mr. Kramer.

It’s just that it seems impossible to read, watch or listen to anything that doesn’t mention Nazis, so I’m completely burned out on the subject.

It was cute back when Wolfenstein 3D was released.

How dare he read that particular copy of Mein Kampf! I need that displayed prominently on my bookshelf during my next Zoom meeting!

Well, he could be dissecting the book or rather trying to study what made Hitler tick.
I have a friend who have Mein Kampf, but only for history project (He is Chinese American, I swear).

I read Mein Kampf and I can tell you it’s the worst waste of time of my life.

“Habsbourg suuuuck”, “Jews baaaad”, “Germans goood”, “invade slaveeees”….

Over, and over, and over.
For THREE HUNDRED PAGES!
