The plane would have fallen anyway; no rear stabilizers. Why bring the imaginary-sky-man into it?
You mean the imaginary plane had no imaginary rear stabilizers.
Yeah, the imaginary-sky-man is the only not real part in this comic.
Maybe they’ve already fallen off the plane. You know the rule in comics: The protagonist only falls when he realizes there’s no ground under his feet.
Not all aeroplanes require a tailplane. If the mainplane’s control surfaces contain ailerons and elevators, or elavons (the less common combined form), then all the tail needs is a rudder. And even then, that’s optional, depending on how manoeuvrable the aircraft is designed to be.
And all qualified pilots need to know how to control their aircraft when it’s been crippled. I know I had to.
Ok, so one for the sky-man! 🙂
But, yeah, that type of aeroplane should have a tailplane under normal circumstances.
like a v-tail beech bonanza? i love those planes!
Really?! two days after the tragic Ukrainian plane crash?! C’mon mate!
