Finally someone who can understand THERE IS MORE VOCAL LANGUAGE. What did happend to the body signals of people? When did we forgot THAT THOSE ARE TYPE OF communication. If you had read any romance book you will NEVER FIND someone asking for consent, because they can read their PARTNERS. Jeez and I thought fat basement urchin like me were the socially inept.
Except coma patients can’t give any signs. And magic doesn’t exist
Yeah, romance books never ask consent because they are supporting the misogynistic toxic patriarchy that says women are just property.
I pray to dog that you are joking …
Tue, I’m praying with you
As opposed to the Toxic Feminism Agenda that says any man should be summarily and instantly fired from any and all jobs if he gets accused of so much as a single groping in the past thirty years. We’re just throwing the whole “innocent until proven guilty” thing right out the window. Such an easy environment to abuse because “all women deserve to be believed”. Dangerous mentality. Not all men are monsters.
Ah, back to debating the extremity of Political Correctness in modern society. I would kiss her, then run in case she tried to hit me when she woke up.
Actually, knowing the story/movie/whatever, it is, it’s endorsed even. He just (finally) knows she’d never do the same. 😉
Got to love this one …
Not funny but at least someone finally pointed out why arguing against kissing her is stupid.
Nope! Patient is unresponsive and the next of kin not available, emergency treatment is authorized.
Given the situation, yes. Magic doesn’t exist in reality, but if it did, this would fall under the definition of emergency authorizing the violation of rules that would otherwise apply.
At least, the Disney version. The original is just messed up.
Foney Fables excerpt:
“C’mon, wake up! Wake up! Wake up, ya lazy good-fer-nuthin! WAKE UP!!!”
Eh, she was probably a bitch anyway.
This Just reached front on one of the right-wing meme sites. Gre guys.at work
A very stark contrast to the original story where he just rapes her and she is awakened by the pain of giving birth
Except that is *not* the text of the original. Tell me you swallow every hot load Buzzfeed shoots down your throat without telling me you swallow every hot load Buzzfeed shoots down your throat.
Tragically, women are dying because bystanders are worried about the consequences of touching an unconscious woman’s chest and thus fail to apply CPR:
Not the same thing at all. The Disney fairytale made no sense logically and with its fairies and curses and evil spells it isn’t intended to. Considering the original fairytale by Grimm had her being raped while in the sleep and only being woken by giving birth I don’t think this a ‘joke’ that doesn’t come across as poor taste and missing the point of consent.
Yes people need to learn CPR on manikins with breasts, seatbelts also need to be redesigned for people with breasts, and Kevlar vests worn by police and army and numerous other things. They aren’t an issue of consent. They’re an issue of the assumed norm for so much of the world is “white straight male” and if you are asking for respect, accomodations or a change in the system, you often find yourself having to work against these white straight men who like being the norm and don’t want things to change.
Brilliant work. Perfect execution aligns with a thought-provoking and a darkly humorous punchline… Comic Strip Of The Year.
