Good thing the waiter forgot to add in the Split Charge to the final sum then…
14+5+3+6+.50+7=35.50
Jesus is looking out for her after all.
What are you talking about? Everything adds up.
The split charge is the $7, the waiter did actually add it to the total.
If I ever overhear that, I’m going to tell that particular idiot that the restaurant does this – just to hear them protest about what wouldn’t happen – to see them self-label as a lunatic!
Split Charge? WTF? Is that even a thing?
Good thing Jesus didn’t order the lobster!
Hmmm, yeah like iampaul pointed out the joke falls flat until the math is worked and the $28.50 subtotal is fixed. If the joke is something else entirely, well then it seems a little too obscure.
Subtotal is fixed! Funnier now??
Jesus Christ look at this bill!!
And yet Chris kicked out Bill Gates. I suppose he could move in with Ryan to help pay?
j’avais cru lire “spit charge”
Another thing; she didn’t get a side salad.
Who did?
Maybe it’s because I’m from a different country, but I have never heard of split charge before. Do you get charged extra for splitting the bill? Why?
Typically a little more upscale restaurants will do this…but yeah, it’s a thing here.
Ummm…
1) The sum does include the split charge.
2) A split charge is sometimes applied for people splitting a meal (usually the restaurant splits it onto two plates).
3) No tip. The servings weren’t split and Jesus didn’t eat anything.

(I expected this to be a cartoon version of http://www.eater.com/2015/7/15/8969775/woman-believed-jesus-christ-would-pay-her-dinner-bill)
Holy hell you people pay to have your bills divided?
