The biggest problem with Handshake Club isn’t telling people about it (how else would you recruit new members?), it’s how you decide who shakes with whom.
Round Robin can be very time-consuming in a large group, Instant Knockout doesn’t encourage newbies to come back. Best to use a mixtue of the two, and also have a beginners section as well.

I’m sure I’ve experienced that. Mostly with trades and stockmen.
