What’s Piranha Club? I wanna check it out!
It’s an old comic strip series by Bud Grace! It ended a few years ago, but there are lots of pages to read. The series started out as “Ernie” but eventually changed its name to “Piranha Club” as the focus changed from the titular Ernie to the sleazy members of the Piranha Club. It was quite popular in northern and central Europe, but is in fact an American series.
I have no idea if it holds up, but I read it a lot when I was a young’un.
