The Critic

This reply to a comment made sense in a simpler time, it’s an expected reply to conform with the status quo, a naive wonderment that has fallen out of favour in these more sophisticated, cynical times.
It’s the kind of boy scout happy happy joy joy verbiage that made sense for your grandparents, or even during your parents younger years, but we’ve since become accustomed to a more eclectic, metropolitan, and highly cultured demonstration of top-echelon refinement.
As a superiorly sophisticated & refined critic, I give this reply zero thumbs up the bottom.
I am a connoissant, you see.
Also, I was going to post what you did, but I couldn’t now.

Well I like his honesty, including with his dislike of himself. And how he took the care to express his dislike clearly as his own opinion with ‘I don’t like’ rather than something suggesting it is bad in and of itself.

So don’t worry critic buddy, even if you don’t like you, I do!
