Misery is happy when it has company.

Let’s all think about how there are people who are capable of drowning puppies.

A long time ago, I was in Burma. My friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So, we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never met anybody who traded with him. One day, I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.
So why steal them?
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

You mean, set in Cold War era Southeast Asia?

Apparently, The Batman will be a prequel with a younger actor replacing Affleck. No idea if it will be set outside of Gotham, tho.

How about someone telling you these things because they want you to help them change the bad things – to stop ignoring it, stop letting it slide, stop forgetting it so you can keep your private happy fantasy

You sound like someone needs to knock some sense out of you. Stop living in reality and get without the program, this is cloud cuckoo land!

That’s all right Izzy, I’m sure if you give it some contemplation and examination, you can cure your wrongthink.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I present to you the subject of this evening’s entertainment:

MR. GLOOMERS!
