I googled crossfit and I still can’t say I really understand the joke. It’s some sort of exercise?

To those who practice it it’s like a religion with it’s level of devotion. The followers will almost defend it to the point of death rather than accept any criticism of it’s somewhat questionable exercises that often have a high injury risk
Just sub “I’m really into crossfit” with “I’m a vegan.” You get the idea.
There was another version of this very toon on Facebook the other day. Everything about it was the same as the one pictured above save for the second to the last panel: in the FB iteration the girl said: “Actually, I’m a guy.”
